Rail traffic will be severely affected on October 8 and 9 due to the necessary repair work in the Amausi yard under Lucknow Railway Division. In view of the convenience of passengers, the railway administration has completely canceled the operation of 8 trains in this period, while the time of about 10 trains has been changed. Passengers have been advised to inform them about the time table and route of their train before leaving on the journey. According to Chief Public Relations Officer Shashikant, the routes of several trains will also be changed during the repair work, and some trains will be stopped at the middle stations for 10 to 25 minutes.

The trains which will be completely canceled due to repair work include many important intercity and express trains.

Additionally, Lucknow-Agra Fort Intercity and Agra Fort-Lucknow Intercity are also included in canceled trains. Railways have clarified that the passengers whose trains have been canceled will be returned to the entire ticket fare.

Keeping in mind the repair work, the Railways has also changed the time of the departure of several long distance express trains.

Delayed trains
The arrival and departure of some trains will also be delayed due to repair work:
Bhopal-Lucknow Express: On October 5, 2 hours will be delayed by a delay of 50 minutes.
Jhansi-Lucknow Express: On October 5, 1 hour will run late by 10 minutes.
Jogbani-Agra Cantt Express: On October 11, it will run with a delay of one and a half hours.
Katiyar Amritsar Express: On October 9 and 10, it will run with a delay of one hour.
