National Testing Agency (NTA) has made some changes in NEET UG re-exam. According to a new notification, the exam time has been increased from 180 minutes to 195 minutes. Moreover, more space is given on the answer sheet for rough work. NEET UG exam was canceled earlier this year due to paper leak. The re-exam is to be held on June 21 and these new changes have been implemented to prepare for it. The real NEET-UG exam was held on May 3, but it was canceled by NTA on May 12 after allegations of paper leak. CBI is investigating this matter and now the re-exam will be held on June 21.

**Paper setters will remain in lockdown**

There will be strict restrictions on those who set the paper till the completion of the examination. They will be kept in ‘lockdown’ (isolation) till June 21 to eliminate any risk of paper leakage. 551 cities across the country and 14 cities abroad have been selected as examination centres.

**Aircraft will be used to carry papers**

According to officials, all processes related to the exam – from question preparation, translation, printing, packaging and storage to transportation and distribution – are under strict surveillance. The government will use Indian Air Force aircraft to transport all the material related to the question paper. In the digital sector, officials are monitoring social media platforms and messaging services round the clock to keep fake question papers, misinformation and suspicious activities away from the examination process.

**Experts will not know for which exam they are preparing the paper**

NTA is working on a new system in which the experts who set the questions will not know for which particular exam they are preparing the paper. Under this new scheme, subject experts will prepare only the questions. These questions will be stored in a large digital repository; Officials estimate that there may be around 10,000 questions in this bank. After this, the final exam paper will be prepared from these questions using a technical process.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a national level entrance examination conducted for admission to medical and dental courses in India. It was started in 2013.

This examination helps in admission in courses like MBBS, BDS, AYUSH (BAMS, BHMS) and Nursing in all the government and private medical colleges of the country. It also includes prestigious institutes like AIIMS and JIPMER.

Financial advisor and content creator Louisa Tay has shared a video interview on Instagram. This interview features Alvin, who left his job at Meta to start a business selling noodles.
