There is a big news for lakhs of students coming under CBSE board. Students who were waiting for re-scrutiny of their answer sheets and review of their marks after the declaration of results will now have to wait a little longer. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has clarified that the online portal for post-result activities will now be operational from June 1, 2026.
The board said that this decision has been taken to ensure that the process of checking and re-evaluating the answer sheets of the students is completed with complete transparency and without any technical glitches. CBSE emphasizes that it wants to avoid any mistakes or haste in the evaluation process; Therefore, all necessary preparations and technical infrastructure are being strengthened.
Students get clear and accurate evaluation
Every year, after the declaration of results, a large number of students express concerns about their marks. Many students feel that their answer sheets have not been evaluated properly or they have not got marks according to their hard work. In such cases, the processes of re-checking and re-evaluation are considered very important for the students. CBSE has said that this time, the entire process is being made more secure and easy to use so that students do not face any difficulty. The aim of the board is to ensure that every student receives fair and accurate assessment.
Portal will open from June 1
According to CBSE, the portal for post-result activities will be operational from June 1, 2026. Through this portal, students will be able to apply to see a copy of their answer sheet, request re-check of their marks and apply for revaluation.
Why was this decision taken?
Over the past few years, there have been frequent complaints about problems like slow website speed, failure to submit applications and technical glitches after the declaration of results. Many students faced difficulties in submitting their applications on time. Keeping these problems in mind, CBSE aims to start this process this time with better preparation than before.
Helpline started to address students’ concerns
For the convenience of students and parents, CBSE has also started a special helpline number and email ID. If any student has any queries regarding results, rechecking or application process, they can directly contact the board. Students can contact CBSE tele-counselling helpline number: 1800 11 8004.
