Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan penned an emotional note praising his son Abhishek Bachchan, who recently completed 25 years in the acting industry.
Amitabh shared a post on his blog on Saturday. The beginning of the post read, “The essence of life is to never give up.. fight till the end.. you may win, you may lose.. but at least you fought. The most ‘courageous’ (the quality of showing courage and determination) loser gets more respect than the ‘so called winner’.. because the most courageous loser will always be remembered for the fact that ‘he fought and almost ‘Won’. There is a greater feeling of success than the monetary guideline of business success.. 25 years is no mean achievement.. comparison with others is a weakness.. results speak more than any other ‘Ta’.
He said, “Abhishek, you have always compared yourself to yourself… Not many people can do that… And every day I learn more and more… They tell me that you have done a lot, sit back… No… Sitting back is the defeat of life – you are giving up… And one should never give up.”
Abhishek started his film career in 2000 with “Refugee” opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. In the film, directed by JP Dutta, Abhishek played the role of an unnamed Indian Muslim who helps illegal refugees cross the border between India and Pakistan in the Great Rann of Kutch.
Her latest film is “Housefull 5”, in which she stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Sonam Bajwa.
Released on June 6, the film is the fifth installment of the “Housefull” franchise, which began in 2010.
