Music composer AR Rahman, who was admitted to a corporate hospital here due to dehydration, has returned home and now his condition is fine, his family gave this information on Sunday.
According to his manager Senthil Valon, the 58 -year -old musician was admitted to the hospital on Sunday morning. Earlier, the musician’s sister AR Rehana denied reports that Rahman was admitted to the hospital after complaining of chest pain.
Rehana told PTI videos, “She had a problem of dehydration and gastric.”
Rahman’s manager reported that twice the Oscar and Grammy Award winner, known for films like “Rosa”, “Dil Se”, “Anthiran” and “Slumdog Millionaire”, also complained of neck pain.
Valel told PTI-Bhasha, “He (Rahman) has just returned home. He is completely fine. He was admitted to the hospital this morning … The doctors conducted some tests and everything is normal.”
Rahman’s son AR Amin shared a picture of a medical bulletin released by Apollo Hospitals, Graemes Road on his Instagram stories. In the bulletin, hospital officials said Rahman “came to the hospital with symptoms of dehydration this morning and was discharged after regular checks.”
Earlier in the Instagram story, Amin shared an update about his father’s health, when the famous musician was reported to be hospitalized.
He wrote, “I honestly thank all our lovely fans, family and well -wishers for your love, prayers and support. My father was feeling a little weak due to dehydration, so we did some regular tests, but I am happy to tell that his health is fine now.”
Amin wrote, “Your kind words and blessings mean a lot to us. We really appreciate your anxiety and constant support. A lot of love and gratitude to all of you!”
On Sunday morning, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said that he spoke to the doctors of the hospital and inquired about Rahman’s health. The Chief Minister wrote on social media, “He has told me that he is fine and will return home soon.”
Rahman is a multi-proclaimed winning composer who is honored around the country and world. His upcoming projects include “Lahore 1947”, “Thug Life” and “Tere Ishq Me”.
