After the success of director Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Kashmir Files’ at the box office, a new debate has broken out. On social media, users are referring to many different incidents across the country that films should be made on those issues too. Meanwhile, famous filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah has announced his upcoming film ‘The Kerala Story’. It has been told with the teaser that the film is based on the story of the disappearance of 32 thousand girls, who could never return to their homes. The makers have released the teaser of 1 minute 10 seconds on YouTube.

The video starts with digital timing and ends at 12 midnight. Next comes the text, ‘How will you feel if your daughter does not return home by midnight? Thousands of girls went missing in Kerala and never returned home in the last 12 years.
What’s the Story?
The teaser further shows a statement by former Kerala Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan. He was the Chief Minister of the state from 2006-11. His statement is dated 24 July 2010. He says, “Popular Front is trying to make Kerala a Muslim state like the agenda of the banned outfit NDF. Their plan is to make Kerala a Muslim state in the next 20 years. Further in the video it is written that ‘Thousands of girls have been trafficked in ISIS and other Islamic war zones in the last 10 years. The name of the film comes from this ‘The Kerala Story’.
