New Delhi, March 2 (IANS). Holi is a festival of colors and happiness, but it can also be harmful for your skin if you are not careful. Often the chemicals present in colors take away the natural moisture of the skin, due to which the skin becomes dry or starts peeling. Those whose skin is sensitive are more at risk of red rashes and allergies. Therefore, it is important that you take full care of your skin protection while playing Holi and even after that.

In Ayurveda, skin is called skin, which is not just an outer covering for the body, but is a mirror of the entire body, which also works to provide protection to the body. After applying Holi colors the skin needs lubrication and purification. For this, many methods have been suggested in Ayurveda, which can be easily done at home.

To remove the colors of Holi, do not apply any kind of soap or face wash on the face. Soaps and face washes already contain chemicals and when mixed with colors they react doubly. In such a situation, wash the face with plain water and for purification and purification, rub the face gently with corn flour or coarse rice flour. This will not only help in cleaning the face but will also help in removing the dirt from the face.

After this, apply a mixture of multani mitti and curd on the face. Often removing the colors results in itching or red rashes. In such a situation, a paste of multani mitti and curd will clear the irritation on the face and will also help in improving the complexion. After multani mitti and curd, apply fresh aloe vera water on the skin. Along with keeping the skin soft, it will also work to provide comfort.

For skin care, not only external but also internal care is necessary. In such a situation, drink lukewarm milk at night to give rest to the entire body. Also avoid eating too much fried food on the day of Holi.
