New Delhi, January 18 (IANS). In today’s busy life, back pain and discomfort have become a common problem. This pain increases due to sitting for a long time, wrong posture or stress. Many times there is no relief even after taking medicine or pain killer. Ayurveda has an easy solution to every problem.
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, you can say goodbye to pain by including some easy home remedies in your daily routine. From garlic oil to turmeric milk, these remedies are safe, affordable, and effective at reducing inflammation and providing relief.
Massaging with garlic, coconut oil or mustard oil is very beneficial. Garlic contains allicin and sulfur compounds, which reduce pain and swelling with anti-inflammatory properties. For this take 8-10 garlic cloves. Put them in coconut oil or mustard oil and fry them on low flame, keep cooking until the buds turn black. After this, filter the oil and let it cool.
According to health experts, massage your back and waist lightly with this lukewarm oil every night before sleeping. After massaging for 10-15 minutes, you can also soak with warm water. It increases blood circulation, loosens muscles and provides instant relief from pain. In many Ayurvedic sources this recipe is considered a panacea for back pain.
Apart from this, turmeric milk is also effective in relieving pain. A compound called curcumin in turmeric is very effective in reducing inflammation and pain. For this take a glass of hot milk. Add half teaspoon turmeric powder to it. Add some black pepper for taste which absorbs the curcumin better and jaggery or honey. Drink it every day before sleeping at night. It acts as a natural pain killer, boosts immunity and speeds up recovery. If there is acidity then keep the quantity less.
