1- Change in color of urine: Dangerous
American health website Cleveland reported that symptoms of liver damage can also be seen in your urine. If your urine consistently appears dark, you should get your liver checked immediately. This is due to the waste product bilirubin present in the liver, which is processed by the liver. However, when damaged, bilirubin begins to accumulate in the blood, making urine appear dark or cola-colored.
2- Change in color of stool can also be harmful.
Apart from this, if the color of the stool appears light, then you should take it seriously, as it can be a sign of bile deficiency or some liver related problem. The liver produces bile, which gives the stool a brown color. If the liver doesn’t produce bile properly or there is a problem with its flow, stool may appear light, yellow, or clay-colored.
3- Beware of constant itching
If your skin is itching but no rash is visible, it may be a sign of liver damage. This is because when the liver is not functioning properly, bile salts accumulate in the blood, which accumulate under the skin and cause irritation. Persistent itching in the hands, feet, or palms may be a sign of liver disease. Therefore, you should immediately consult a doctor.
