New Delhi, April 29 (IANS). The heat is continuously increasing in many parts of the country including Delhi and NCR. Due to strong sunlight and hot winds, the body starts losing water and essential elements rapidly, due to which many people start facing problems like fatigue, dizziness, headache, stomach burning and weakness. According to doctors, this could be a sign of lack of water and electrolytes in the body.
In such weather, just drinking water is not enough, but it is also important to include such things in the diet which help in cooling the body from inside. Some natural spices can prove helpful in maintaining balanced body temperature, improving digestion and reducing the effects of heat.
Fennel- Fennel is considered very beneficial for the body in summer. Such natural elements are found in it which help in cooling the body. Fennel helps in keeping the digestive system calm and reduces excess heat generated in the stomach. Many researches have also found that the antioxidants present in fennel help in protecting the body from heat stress. Drinking fennel water in summer can keep the body fresh and also reduce the risk of heatstroke.
Coriander seeds- Coriander seeds are also counted among the spices that provide relief to the body in summer. Coriander helps in reducing inflammation and heat in the body. In Ayurveda, it is considered to balance the bile in the body. Doctors say that coriander water improves digestion and reduces problems like stomach irritation.
