New Delhi, October 8 (IANS). One of the many medicines used in Ayurveda to improve health is ‘Commiphora Mukul’, which is called ‘Guggul’ in Ayurveda. It balances the defects in the body and provides relief from diseases. This Ayurveda is considered best for diseases related to Vata dosha.
‘Guggul’ has been described as a miraculous medicine in Sushruta Samhita and Charak Samhita. It is effective in many problems like joint pain, arthritis, sciatica, spondylitis, obesity, liver disease, piles, anemia, and intestinal worms. It balances Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas and is especially effective in controlling Vata dosha. Guggulu helps in improving health by removing toxic elements from the body.
Modern research has also proved the properties of Guggulu. The compound ‘guggulusterone’ present in it has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and pain-relieving properties, which reduces inflammation and pain. It is considered helpful in improving heart health, cholesterol control and metabolism.
Guggulu contains a mixture of more than 28 herbs, making it a powerful medicine.
According to Charak Samhita, it reduces joint pain, swelling and muscle stiffness. In sciatica and spondylitis, it is used more effectively with massage with joints, ashwagandha powder, and guggul oil. It is also beneficial in reducing obesity, improving the digestive system and urinary disorders.
Guggulu not only cures diseases but also improves lifestyle. It detoxifies the body and increases energy levels. Ayurveda considers it the best treatment for Vata disorders. However, it should be used with the advice of an Ayurvedic doctor, so that the correct dosage and method is followed.
Guggulu is a precious gift of Ayurveda, which balances health in a natural way and fills new energy in life.
