New Delhi, 15 September (IANS). As age increases, many changes begin to occur in the body. After the age of 30, these changes begin to look even more clear. The strength of bones starts decreasing, muscles do not remain as strong as before, the body starts feeling tight and mental stress also increases.
In such a situation, if you have to keep yourself physically and mentally strong, then it is very important to make yoga a part of your life. Yoga not only makes the body flexible and fit, but also calms the mind and increases confidence.
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, yoga should be started from Tadasana. The easier this asana looks, the deeper the body affects the body. By doing Tadasana, the body’s posture improves, the spinal cord remains straight, and the balance is better. In addition, this asana helps in stretching the entire body, causing muscle stretch and increases flexibility. After the age of 30, when the muscles of the body start to loose, Tadasana works to activate them again.
Paschimottasana is a very effective yogasan, which is beneficial for your back, legs and stomach. In this posture, an attempt is made to catch the claws of the feet by bending the body forward. This yoga practice makes the spinal cord strong and removes the tightness of hemstrings. After the age of 30, when the back stiffness or legs start getting tired quickly, this asana relieves those parts and increases flexibility. It also improves mental concentration, which reduces stress.
Sethubandan Sarvangasana is also called Bridge Pose. It is especially beneficial for the back and stomach. This asana is done by lying on the back, in which the body is raised up and made a bridge. This asana strengthens the spinal cord, activates the thyroid glands and improves digestion.
Malasan is especially beneficial for women. Malason strengthens the pelvic area, increases the strength of hips and thigh, and also provides relief in constipation problem. After the age of 30, hormonal changes also occur in women. In such a situation, this asana not only brings the body into balance but also mentally relaxes.
In addition, Balasan relaxes both body and mind. This yoga practice relieves stress, relieves the lower back and helps to relax the entire body. If the fatigue of the day dominates the body or the mind is restless, then doing Balasan gives immediate peace.
