Siwan, April 24 (IANS). Such hospitals and private clinics are being operated illegally in Siwan, Bihar, where neither there are trained doctors nor the hospital operators have valid licenses. In such a situation, the big question is how these hospitals are being operated.
The issue of hospitals operating illegally in the district has come into discussion at a time when a newborn baby admitted in Dr. Umesh’s clinic for 16 days died. After this the family members reached the hospital and expressed their anger.
Family members allege that this hospital is being run in a fraudulent manner. There are neither trained doctors nor any other health workers here. Despite this, thousands of rupees are collected in the name of fees from the patients coming here.
It is being told that not just one but many such hospitals are running across the district, which neither have valid documents nor trained doctors. Many times, untrained health workers in hospitals inject patients. After this, patients have to face many types of health related problems.
Also, it is being said that complaints in this regard have been made several times to the district administration and health department. But, the surprising thing is that till now no concrete action has been taken in this matter. Because of this, the morale of the operators of such hospitals and other clinics is increasing and they are operating it with full force.
Now the local people have united and complained about this matter to the district administration and demanded that strict action should be taken. Also, those who are running these hospitals should be identified and strict action should be taken against them.
Local people say that is there no value to the lives of the poor? Which is that till now no action has been taken against such people. Now this kind of situation will not be accepted at any cost.
