New Delhi, 28 September (IANS). In today’s era, the use of computers, laptops and mobiles has increased so much that people are connected to these devices throughout the day. Especially employees working in the office, who are sitting in the same type of posture in the same place for a long time, they often have problems with pain in the neck, shoulders and hands. This pain is called cervical pen in medical language.
This affects our health and ability to work. Due to this, not only does the neck feel tight, but this pain can also reach the shoulders and hands, which causes a lot of trouble while working.
The reasons behind the cervical pen include sitting in the same posture, using the device wrongly, or the tension of the neck muscles, etc. If this problem is ignored, it can gradually become serious, which can also cause headache, arms and weakness in hands. However, by understanding this problem in the beginning, it can be easily overcome by taking some precautions.
The Ministry of AYUSH also emphasizes that yoga and simple exercise are very beneficial to get relief from this problem. Yogasanas not only reduce pain, but are also helpful in increasing the flexibility of the body, reducing stress and giving mental peace.
Bhujangasana’s name comes first among the most effective yogasanas to get relief from cervical pen. In this posture, you have to lift the upper part of the body slowly by lying on your stomach and with the help of your hands. The neck has to bend back according to its convenience. This strengthens the muscles of the neck and shoulders and reduces the stretch problem. Bhujangasana not only relieves neck pain, but also helps in reducing abdominal fat and also to calm the brain.
Balasana is a simple and effective yogasana, which is very useful for cervical pen patients. To do this asana, you have to sit in Vajrasana first, then lift the hands up and slowly bend forward so that the head can touch the ground. In this situation, one has to remain for some time. Balasan provides peace and stability to the entire body along with relaxing the neck and shoulders. By practicing it regularly, muscle stress is reduced and the body gets new energy.
Marjari Asan also has a lot of importance in cervical pen. This asana is the practice of raising the upper part of the body by standing on hands and feet. During this time, lifting the head up and pressing the waist downwards, causing the neck, back and waist muscles to stretch well. Marjari asana not only provides relief in cervical pen, but it also relieves back pain and weakness of the back. Regularizing it improves the flexibility of the body.
