New Delhi, February 15 (IANS). The uterus is the most important part of a woman’s body, which is related to the overall health of her body.

Even the slightest disturbance in the uterus can make any woman very ill. Due to this, one has to face countless problems ranging from thyroid, sugar, PCOD, fatigue, hair fall, but in today’s lifestyle, women are facing the problem of low period flow, but is low period flow harmful?

The flow of periods depends on the thickness of the inner layer of the uterus, called the endometrium layer. This layer is formed every month in a woman’s uterus and prepares the covering for pregnancy. In the absence of a child in the womb, the layer starts breaking and this circle is called menstruation.

The thing to keep in mind is that whether any woman will have more or less periods depends on the endometrium layer. If the layer is not developed properly, then the period flow remains less, whereas on the contrary, if the thickness is more, then there is heavy flow, but having less flow every time is not a disease.

If the woman does not have hormonal imbalance or PCOD, is not losing weight rapidly, does not have much physical activity and does not have any surgery or infection in the uterus, then low flow is also normal. According to doctors, a cycle of 21 to 35 days is normal and bleeding of 2 to 5 days is normal. If any woman’s bleeding reduces after 1 day, then it is an alarm bell that she should get checked. At the same time, discharge for more than 7 days can prove fatal for the body.

Along with this, if the periods are irregular, there is excessive stomach pain, there is difficulty in conceiving, and the periods are missed again and again, then doctor’s advice must be taken. Your menstrual cycle can be balanced with diet. Consume things rich in protein and iron in your diet. Drink plenty of water and keep your body hydrated. Also do light exercise daily, which increases blood circulation in the uterus, and also get enough sleep.
