New Delhi, December 23 (IANS). Kewra holds an important place in the traditional Ayurvedic medicine of India. Along with its wonderful fragrance, Kevada is also loved by God in worship. This perfume is used in sherbet as well as sweets. The medicinal properties of Kevada are also very special. It has an important place in Ayurveda.
The medicinal use of flowers is described in detail in ancient texts like Charak Samhita and Sushruta Samhita. Kevada oil and extract are used to reduce stress, relieve headache, provide relief from joint pain, improve digestion and increase immunity. It naturally purifies the body and prevents many diseases.
