New Delhi, January 13 (IANS). Marua is an Ayurvedic plant that keeps you fit both inside and out. Potassium, calcium, iron, fiber, protein, magnesium and vitamin B6 are found in abundance in its leaves. This is the reason why it has been given great importance in Ayurveda.
In winter, people often suffer from cold, cough or phlegm and Marua helps in providing relief from all these problems. You can drink Marua leaves by adding them to tea. If you want, you can also add some liquorice, which is very effective in reducing cough and sore throat.
Apart from this, Marua is also very beneficial for children. Its chutney helps in removing the problem of stomach worms. Grind marua leaves and make a light chutney and give it to children.
