New Delhi, 4 October (IANS). The Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi is making people aware against obesity, because the increasing weight is not a sign of good health. Increased obesity is the cause of many diseases in the body and by ignoring, the body becomes a victim of life -threatening diseases.
According to the World Health Organization, every fifth person in India is a victim of obesity or moving towards it. Obesity gives rise to many diseases. Diseases like high BP, heart disease, weakening of bones, thyroid and diabetes are born on obesity, but Ayurveda has given excellent measures to avoid obesity.
Obesity in Ayurveda has been associated with phlegm defects. Due to the phlegm defect in the body, the body starts accumulating in the body and gradually the body starts to become thicker. To avoid obesity, many medicinal plants are mentioned in Ayurveda, including Triphala, Brahmi, Garcinia Cambogia, fennel, curry leaves, turmeric, mint, fenugreek, ginger, cinnamon and black pepper. Consuming all these medicines and spices properly will reduce weight.
Triphala is very good for the stomach. If Triphala powder is taken with warm water at night, it helps in losing weight. Triphala powder corrects the digestive system and absorbs all the properties of food. Apart from this, both cinnamon and fenugreek improve metabolism and control blood sugar levels. For this, cinnamon and fenugreek can be soaked and consumed at night.
Kaloujin’s metabolism helps to function properly, which does not cause hunger and does not collect much fat in the body.
In Ayurveda, some precautions have also been asked to take, which are effective in reducing weight. Those whose weight grows rapidly, should avoid products made of milk and milk and also reduce rice intake. Rice contains a lot of carbs, which increase both sugar and obesity. Eat some good food when you feel hungry between lunch and dinner. You can take fruit or dry fruit at this time. Do not consume chips, caffeine and canned products.
