On World Tuberculosis Day, Chief Ministers of many states including Yogi Adityanath took the pledge of TB-free India.

New Delhi, March 24 (IANS). On World Tuberculosis Day on Tuesday, Chief Ministers of many states including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Tuberculosis still remains a serious public health challenge. We should become aware and drive it away. India has to become TV free.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote on the social media platform

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma posted on Twitter, “On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day, let us all pledge to spread public awareness against this deadly disease, so that it can be eradicated from its roots by building a healthy society.”

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai wrote on ‘X’, “On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day, let us all pledge to make the public aware of Tuberculosis and make united efforts for its effective prevention.”

Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “TB will lose – the country will win. On World Tuberculosis Day, let us take a pledge to defeat TB and build a healthy, strong and prosperous India. Timely testing, regular treatment and public awareness is our biggest victory over this disease.”

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said, “On World Tuberculosis Day, let us all take a pledge to increase awareness about TB, identify its symptoms and adopt timely testing and treatment. Also, remove the misconceptions spread in the society and be sensitive and cooperative towards the infected people.”

Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Brajesh Pathak wrote on ‘X’, “On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day, let us all resolve to further strengthen the resolve of a Tuberculosis-free India and contribute to the work and efforts for widespread awareness and eradication of Tuberculosis.”
