Eating 1 handful of gram sprouts in morning breakfast provides protein, fiber and essential nutrients. It not only keeps the stomach filled for a long time, but also helps in weight loss, increasing immunity and improving digestion.

A delicious and healthy breakfast can be prepared by boiling gram sprouts by mixing with vegetables and fruits. Consuming it 3-4 times a week gives many benefits to health. Let’s learn the easy recipe for making gram sprouts and its benefits.

Make gram sprouts recipe like this

This is the material

1 handful of black or white gram half onion (finely chopped) 1 tomato (finely chopped) 1 green chili (finely chopped) Green coriander (finely chopped) Apple pieces (optional) pomegranate (optional) half lemon black salt and chaat masala (as per taste)

Method of making here

First step: Soak 1 handful of gram in water at night. In the morning, take out the water and boil the gram in a pressure cooker with 1 cup of water. Turn off the gas after 2-3 whistles.

Second step: Finely chop onion, tomato, green chillies, green coriander, apple and pomegranate seeds. Keep black salt, chaat masala and lemon juice separate.

Third step: Sieve boiled gram water and remove it in a bowl. Add chopped vegetables and fruits to it. Mix black salt, chaat masala and lemon juice on top. Delicious gram sprouts are ready.

How to consume?

Eat gram sprouts for breakfast in the morning, so that energy remains throughout the day.

It can be eaten as a salad or by adding light spices.

Drink 3-4 times a week, but avoid excessive amounts, as it can cause gas or indigestion.

Benefits of gram sprouts

Chana sprouts are rich in protein and fiber, which controls appetite. This stops overwing and makes weight management easier.

The high amount of fiber improves digestion and reduces the problem of constipation.

Gram contains iron, which is beneficial for people struggling with anemia. It helps in completing anemia.

Gram gives the body energy immediately, which makes the fatigue feel less day by day.

Sprouts contain vitamins (A, C, K) and minerals (calcium, magnesium), which strengthen immunity and bones.

Fiber and antioxidants control cholesterol, which reduces the risk of heart diseases.
