New Delhi, December 10 (IANS). Digestive problems persist due to eating and drinking too much in every season. In winter, due to the weather, people eat too much hot and fried food, which affects their digestive power and leads to sour belching.
In today’s time, sour belching has become a common problem due to bad eating habits and lifestyle, but if the problem persists for a long time, it indicates stomach related disease.
Sour belching occurs when excess acid starts forming in the stomach and that acid starts moving towards the esophagus. In this condition, problems like sour belching, heartburn, and sometimes chest pain start occurring. This is not just an uncomfortable symptom, but can also be a sign of an ongoing disturbance within the digestive system. Many home remedies have been suggested in Ayurveda to avoid these problems, through which the problem of sour belching can be controlled.
For this, prepare sweet fennel and sugar candy powder and keep it in the house. This mixture is easily available in the market but make it at home with hygiene. Fennel contains anethole, which helps in reducing stomach acid. When stomach acid is reduced, gas formation and burning sensation is reduced. Take this mixture after meals.
Secondly, taking lukewarm water and honey will also reduce the acid production in the stomach. The nature of honey is Yogavaahi, meaning it acquires the qualities of the person with whom it is taken. Taking honey with lukewarm water strengthens digestion and reduces problems like gas and heartburn. It should be consumed in the morning on an empty stomach.
Third, the mixture of celery, black salt, and lemon is also beneficial for the stomach. This mixture helps in digesting food well, which prevents excess acid in the stomach. Only as much acid is produced as is required to digest food. Apart from this, consuming coconut water will also be beneficial to calm the stomach acid. Coconut water provides natural cooling effect and also helps in digestion.
Fourth, consumption of dry ginger (dry ginger) and honey also provides relief from sour belching. This mixture strengthens the mucus layer, due to which the acid produced in the stomach is not able to damage the mucus layer and the feeling of burning is reduced.
