New Delhi, December 17 (IANS). At every stage of life, a woman’s body has to go through many things, in which the stage after becoming a mother and the stage of menopause are considered to be the most important.
With increasing age, women’s body starts struggling with many changes and shortcomings. Women’s body signals every deficiency, ignoring which can be dangerous for the entire body. Small problems become the cause of big diseases.
Nutritional deficiency in women gives many signs, which include hair fall, freckles on the face, pain during menstruation or increasing body weight after menopause, feeling tired, feeling irritable, pain in bones, sleeplessness and anemia. All these symptoms sound simple, but these small problems indicate major diseases.
It is believed in Ayurveda that its root cause is the digestive fire of the stomach. The digestive fire of the stomach becomes weak, due to which the body does not get complete nutrition. Lack of nutrition makes the body lifeless. Apart from this, due to imbalance of Vata, Pitta and Kapha doshas, the body also suffers from deficiency of nutrients. Deficiency of Vitamin B12, calcium, iron, protein, omega three and folic acid is commonly seen in women.
This deficiency of vitamins and minerals invites many diseases. To compensate for these deficiencies, it is important for women to change their diet. Women should start the morning with dry fruits. Eat almonds, figs, walnuts and raisins in the morning. Soak these dry fruits in water at night, after which consume turmeric, asparagus or ashwagandha with milk before sleeping at night. This will help in getting relief from menstrual related problems.
Women must consume green vegetables. Make sure to consume carrots, beetroot, sesame seeds and green leafy vegetables in your diet. To get relief from bone pain in winter, consume sesame and jaggery. Apart from this, drink plenty of water and avoid tea and coffee. If stomach related problems are troubling you, then you can consume Triphala powder on an empty stomach in the morning.
