Bhopal, July 2 (IANS). Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha reached Bhopal on Thursday. The CM will participate in a three-day conference organized jointly by the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India, Madhya Pradesh State Chapter and People’s University here.
Renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeon Manik Saha is the chief guest at the three-day national conference which is being attended by leading experts from India and abroad.
Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla welcomed him at his residence, where the two leaders discussed healthcare and medical education.
Dr. Saha’s wife Swapna Saha was also present there. Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla said the conference will be an important platform for surgeons, researchers, medical teachers and post graduate students to exchange ideas and learn about the latest developments in the field.
Shukla said, “Dr. Manik Saha himself is a renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeon. His presence at this national conference will inspire young medical professionals and further strengthen educational exchanges in this field. Such platforms are necessary to promote innovation and enhance the quality of healthcare services.”
The conference is being jointly organized by the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India, Madhya Pradesh State Chapter and People’s University, Bhopal from July 2 to 4.
Held on the theme ‘Building a Perfect Surgeon’, the event will discuss scientific research, advanced surgical techniques, complex diagnostic procedures and emerging trends in medical education.
Experts will present papers and conduct workshops on new approaches in oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a focus on improving patient care through innovation.
The objective of this conference is to promote collaboration among experts and to introduce postgraduate students to the evolving global standards in this field.
Organizers said the participation of senior surgeons and academicians will help bridge the gap between research and clinical application.
This program is expected to strengthen the academic network and promote adoption of modern surgical practices across the institutions.
