Lucknow, 4 October (IANS). Kannauj Chief Medical Officer Dr. Swadesh Gupta has tightened the grip on the tender disturbances, financial irregularities and corruption. State Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has decided to conduct an inquiry on the basis of complaints.
Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has directed the Principal Secretary of Medical and Health Department to investigate complaints against Dr. Swadesh Gupta and give a charge sheet to departmental action.
It is alleged that irregularities were promoted in ultrasound centers. In this regard, the Deputy CM has instructed the Principal Secretary to investigate the allegations and take a charge sheet and take departmental action against them.
Dr. Pradeep Tiwari, Medical Superintendent of Amethi, Jagdishpur CHC, was transferred to Musafirkhana CHC. Despite this, Dr. Pradeep has not taken charge at the new deployment site, disregarding the highs. The Deputy CM has directed to take disciplinary action against Dr. Pradeep, Principal Secretary, Health Department.
Explanation has been summoned from the Chief Medical Officer of Chitrakoot. It is alleged that the Chief Medical Officer is often absent from the headquarters, does not comply with the highs and is negligent in discharging government and office obligations. Therefore, strict action will be taken against them.
Dr. DK Gupta, posted in the Joint Hospital in Shravasti district, was accused of illegally practicing privately and connivance with medical store operators while working in Mahoba District Hospital. In the investigation, these allegations were found to be true. After this, the Deputy Chief Minister ordered the Principal Secretary of the Department of Medical and Health that three salary of Dr. Gupta should be stopped permanently and they should be punished for Parininda (condemnation). Also, during his 10 -year deployment in Mahoba, the money received from private practice should be charged with interest.
