Take a break for the next pregnancy: If your pregnancy has been done by caesarean, then you should take a break of at least two years for the next pregnancy. If you plan for another pregnancy by taking a break, then your next pregnancy is more likely to be normal. Many researches have revealed that if the next pregnancy occurs within 24 months or 2 years of pregnancy, then the risk of uterine rupture during pregnancy or during delivery is higher. Uterine rupture can cause problems, so it is important to have a gap between the two deliveries.
Use contraceptive for sex: If you have had a caesarean delivery, take special care of contraception after delivery. Your second child must have a gap of at least 18 months.
Consume Iron and Calcium: If you have had a caesarean delivery, then take special care of your diet. There may be a lack of essential nutrients in the body, which is necessary to fulfill. Include iron and calcium in your diet for 6 months. Remember that you must consume protein in the diet.
Do abdominal exercises after doctor’s advice: Generally, women start exercising 6 to 8 weeks after delivery so that the body remains in shape, but after cesarean delivery, you should start doing abdominal exercises only after consulting a doctor. The doctor will advise you to start exercising only after checking your physical condition and flexibility in the muscles.
Avoid lifting heavy items: Avoid lifting heavy objects after caesarean delivery. Try not to lift heavy objects for 3 to 6 months.
Take care of personal hygiene: After caesarean delivery, you should take special care of your cleanliness. Keep pubic hair clean. Cleaning the pubic hair reduces the amount of sweat and moisture in the private part, which does not pose any risk of infection.
