At the same time, sometimes a situation of snakebite or snake bite is seen, which can also be fatal. Experts say that snakebite is actually a serious medical emergency. Being nervous or using wrong home remedies can worsen the situation. By having correct information and taking appropriate steps immediately, the life of a snakebite patient can be saved.
The National Health Mission says that time is of the essence in case of snakebite. Every year a large number of people in the country become victims of snake bites. Many times people lose precious time out of fear or relying on illusions, due to which the situation becomes serious. In most cases, the patient can be saved by getting treatment at the right time.
In case of snake bite, wash the wound with clean water. Immediately remove rings, bracelets, shoes or any tight clothing from the patient. Keep the patient calm and avoid excessive movement. Reach the nearest government hospital without any delay.
Health experts say that in case of snake bite, do not make any incision on the wound. Do not apply a tight bandage or bandage on the wound. Never try to suck out the poison. Do not waste time on exorcism, home remedies or any kind of home remedy.
The biggest danger after snakebite is panic and wrong treatment. Poison can spread rapidly in the body, so move the patient as little as possible. Cutting the wound or sucking out the venom increases the risk of infection and can make the condition worse.
In such a situation, the health department advises that in case of snake bite, immediately go to the nearest government hospital where anti-venom serum and necessary treatment is available. It is safer to go to a government hospital rather than relying on private clinics or home remedies.
Be cautious in areas with snakes. Use a flashlight when walking at night and avoid tall grass or dark areas. If you see a snake, do not tease it, move away. Snakebite is a medical emergency. If instead of panic, you remain calm and take the right steps, your life is sure to be saved.
