New Delhi. An Air India aircraft going from Bangalore to Varanasi stirred up when a passenger tried to open the door of the cockpit. However, the pilot locked the cockpit door from inside as he feared that perhaps an attempt was being made to hijack the plane. The pilot immediately informed the ATC. The person who did this was traveling with 8 other colleagues. After the plane landing in Varanasi, all 9 people were taken into custody by CRPF and they are being questioned.

Air India flight IX-1086 flew from Bangalore to Varanasi at 8 am. Meanwhile, a statement has been issued by Air India on this entire matter. The Air India Express spokesperson said, a passenger had reached the entry area of the cockpit, searching for toilets. He felt that it was probably the toilet door. Along with this, Air India also said that we confirm that there is no security lapse, adequate security arrangements have been made and no compromise has been made to them. At the time of landing, the concerned officials were informed about the case and it is currently under investigation.
At the same time, according to the report of Hindustan Times, the passenger who tried to open the door of the cockpit told that this was his first air journey. He was never sitting in an airplane before this. He said that he wanted to go to the toilet and he understood the door of the cockpit as the door of the toilet. However, when the crew told him that this is the door of the cockpit, he went back from there.
