Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) information technology chief Amit Malviya has attacked Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi, claiming that his allegations of “vote theft” prove baseless in the face of a survey conducted in Karnataka, where a majority of people believed that EVMs are trustworthy and elections are fair. Malviya, on his official Twitter account, criticized Gandhi, who had made serious allegations related to vote theft on the Central government.

The post began with the sentence, “Congress’s own survey in Karnataka has completely exposed Rahul Gandhi’s entire ‘vote theft’ narrative.” He backed his statement with a survey conducted by the Karnataka Monitoring and Evaluation Authority (KMEA), constituted by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka.

He said “The study was conducted by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka through the Karnataka Monitoring and Evaluation Authority (KMEA), an independent body under the Planning Department of the Government of Karnataka. The study was conducted through a competitive process by the KMEA and not by the Election Commission of India.”

Highlighting the results of the survey, he said, “The findings are clear.” Is.”

He said the survey refutes Congress’ claims of “vote theft” and pointed out that Rahul Gandhi is pushing the narrative. “These facts deal a serious blow to the Congress narrative that Rahul Gandhi is at the forefront of the ‘vote theft’ campaign against the BJP. “When citizens themselves express growing confidence in the electoral process and EVMs, the politics of artificial distrust is completely exposed.”

The opposition has repeatedly claimed that the central government is stealing votes in several state elections, forcing the Election Commission of India to conduct the SIR exercise. Earlier in December, Rahul Gandhi

He had claimed that the Congress won the Haryana Assembly elections in 2024 and the Maharashtra Assembly elections “not fairly”. The Lok Sabha MP said that when he raised the issue with the Election Commission, he did not get any “response” from the Election Commission. Addressing the Hertie School during his visit to Germany, Rahul Gandhi said, “We have won elections in Telangana and Himachal Pradesh. We have been raising concerns about the fairness of elections in India. I have held press conferences in India. Where we have clearly shown without any doubt that we won the Haryana elections and we do not feel that the Maharashtra elections were fair. “There is a massive attack on the institutional structure of our country. We asked questions directly to the Election Commission.
