New Delhi. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has increased their honorarium before giving a big gift to Anganwadi workers and assistants of the state before the assembly elections. Now Anganwadi servants will now be increased from Rs 7,000 to Rs 9,000. Similarly, it has been recommended to increase the honorarium of Anganwadi assistants from Rs 4,000 to Rs 4,500. CM Nitish Kumar said, Anganwadi servants and assistants have an important role in improving the nutrition and standard of living of children and pregnant women in the state. Honoring his role, we have decided to increase their honorarium.
Nitish Kumar, while giving information about the decision to increase the honorarium of Anganwadi workers and assistants, wrote on the social media post, “Since the formation of the government in November 2005, we have worked on a large scale to improve the nutrition and health of pregnant women and children. For this, 6 types of services are being provided through the Integrated Child Development Project. Anganwadi servants and assistants play an important role in providing these services to the beneficiaries through Anganwadi centers. In view of his important contribution, it has been decided to increase their honorarium amount. This will increase the morale of all Anganwadi servants and assistants and will make integrated child development services and better.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister today inaugurated the implementation of e-ticketing facility in 1065 buses of Bihar State Road Transport Corporation and flagged off 80 new pink buses. CM says that only women can travel in these pink buses. The operation of these pink buses will make women’s journey more safe and comfortable and they will be very comfortable in traffic. Also, with the arrangement of e-ticketing, the people of the state will be able to travel in various places.
