The government is constantly keeping an eye on whatever happened in Indigo Airlines and after investigation in this matter, such action will be taken which will become an example for all other airlines so that such a situation does not arise again in future. Naidu said that before implementing the FDTL rules, we had a meeting with IndiGo officials on December 1. Only then Indigo officials were informed by the government about the change in the rules. Then no objection of any kind was raised from his side. After this, flights suddenly started getting canceled on 3rd December and this trend is still continuing. Taking the matter seriously, the government immediately took cognizance of it. The Union Minister said that Indigo had to manage its crew and roster but they failed to do so and due to this their flights were canceled and thousands of passengers had to face a lot of trouble.

Let us tell you that despite the immediate ban on Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL) order by DGCA, the Indio crisis continues. Indigo Airlines CEO Peter Elbers says that it will take some time for the situation to become completely normal. He has expressed hope that the situation will become normal by 10 to 15 December. While Joint Director General Sanjay K. Bramhane, Deputy Director General Amit Gupta, Captain Kapil Manglik SFOI and Captain Lokesh Rampal FOI have been entrusted with the investigation of this entire matter.
