Ayodhya. On the orders of the Supreme Court in lieu of Ram temple in Ayodhya, the UP government gave land in Dhunipur village for the mosque. It is now reported that the Ayodhya Development Authority has rejected the layout plan of the mosque. According to the news of the newspaper Times of India, RTI has revealed that many government departments did not give NOCs. Due to which the layout plan of the mosque to be built in Dhunipur, Ayodhya was not approved. The Supreme Court on 9 November 2019, while giving a historic verdict, approved the construction of Ram temple in the Babri Masjid place. Also, the UP government was ordered to give 5 acres of land to the Sunni Central Waqf Board to build a mosque.
Following the Supreme Court order, the Ayodhya administration gave 5 acres of land in Dhunipur village on 3 August 2020. A trust was formed to build a mosque. The trust then filed a layout plan for the mosque on 23 June 2021. According to the newspaper, it is necessary to get NOC from many government departments for the mosque. The Ayodhya Development Authority has not said when the layout plan will be approved for the mosque. At the same time, Athar Hussain, secretary of the Mosque Trust, told the Times of India that he is surprised to not get NOC. Athar said that the fire brigade after investigation found that the approach road for the mosque should be 12 meters wide, but a road is just 6 meters wide. While the width of the main road is 4 meters.
Masjid Trust Secretary Athar Hussain told the newspaper that the administration has not received information about the dismissal of NOC for the mosque. According to Hussain, no objection has been received from any government department besides the fire brigade. At the same time, the Ram temple in Ayodhya is going to be completed. All the work of Ram temple will be done by December this year. The work of making Parkota for the Ram temple is still going on. Also some other sporadic work remains. The summit of the temple is fully prepared.
