In today’s era, where digital technology stimulates the mind but takes away peace, with the blessings of Mahant Swami Maharaj, ‘Mission Rajipo’ of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha has emerged as a path of light where spiritual education and character building happen together.
Divine inspiration of Mahant Swami Maharaj
Most Revered Mahant Swami Maharaj made this divine resolution in the year 2024 that children all over the world should study and recite Sanskrit shlokas. He said, Sanskrit is the mother of all languages. He explained that children who assimilate Sanskrit verses and implement them in life, progress not only spiritually but in every area of life.
Mahant Swami Maharaj set a target that 10,000 children should memorize Sanskrit verses in a year. But this inspiration of Swamiji spread like holy fire. What started as a goal soon became a movement. More than 40,000 children participated enthusiastically. Of these, 15,666 boys and girls completely memorized all 315 Sanskrit verses of the Satsang Diksha book and passed the examination. Thousands of other children are still moving forward in this spiritual journey of study, contemplation and self-transformation.
Deep vision behind Sanskrit study
Mahant Swami Maharaj’s vision is spiritual as well as scientific. He said that Sanskrit refines pronunciation, enriches vocabulary and sharpens the intellect. Regular chanting of Sanskrit verses increases concentration, clarity and mental purity, which is now accepted even by modern science. Thus, he described Sanskrit as not just a religious language but a spiritual science of internal discipline and self-transformation.

The 315 verses of Satsang Diksha are not just lessons, they are sutras of life. Every verse is like a moral compass, which develops the following qualities in children-
