New Delhi. A consensus has almost been reached among the NDA parties regarding seat sharing for the Bihar Assembly elections. JDU has handed over the responsibility to BJP for talks with all the allies of NDA. Based on the information received from NDA sources, it is being claimed in the media report that there is no dispute regarding ticket distribution with Chirag Paswan’s party LJP (Ram Vilas), Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party HAM and Upendra Kushwaha’s party RLSP. There is a possibility that NDA may release its first list of candidates on October 13.
BJP has completed the selection process of its candidates at the state level. Three potential candidates have been kept for each assembly seat. Now a meeting of BJP’s Bihar Core Group can be held in Delhi on October 11. The next day on October 12, BJP’s Central Election Committee meeting is likely to be held in Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda will also attend this meeting. It is believed that the final seal on the names of the candidates will be taken in this meeting. The first list may be released after the meeting of the Central Election Committee.
Earlier there were reports that Chirag Paswan was demanding 45 seats, due to which the talks with him were not being finalised, now it is being said that Chirag has agreed on 25-27 seats. Earlier Jitan Ram Manjhi was also adamant on 15 seats but now an agreement has been reached with him also. Let us tell you that assembly elections are to be held in two phases in Bihar. Voting for the first phase will be held on November 6, while for the second phase, voting will be held on November 11. Counting of votes will be done on November 14.
