New Delhi. Before the Bihar Assembly elections 2025, the grand alliance of the opposition may be claiming consensus among all the parties on seat sharing, but on the contrary, on some seats the constituent parties have fielded candidates against each other. In some seats, Congress and RJD candidates are facing each other, while in some places RJD and VIP candidates are challenging each other. From this it is considered certain that there is discord among the opposition parties regarding seat sharing. On the other hand, BJP is enjoying this and has taken a dig at the Grand Alliance.
RJD has declared Rajneesh Yadav as its candidate from Kahalgaon assembly seat while Congress has given ticket to Praveen Kushwaha from here. Similarly, RJD candidate Shivani Shukla has filed nomination from Lalganj seat and Aditya Raja of Congress has also submitted his nomination. RJD had already given symbol to Afzal Ali Khan on Gaura Baram assembly seat and today Santosh Sahni, brother of VIP party chief Mukesh Sahni, has filed nomination from there. A similar case is of Bachhwara assembly seat where Awadhesh Rai of CPI and Garib Das of Congress are face to face. Not only are the workers confused, their supporters are also confused due to the filing of nominations by candidates from different parties of the Grand Alliance on the same seat.
On the other hand, BJP IT Cell head Amit Malviya, reacting to this, said that the alliance of Congress and RJD has disintegrated. All the parties are releasing the list of their candidates, but no one knows who is contesting from which seat. No one is questioning Mukesh Sahni of Vikassheel Insaan Party. Left parties are searching for their survival. By not declaring Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial face, Rahul Gandhi has further reduced his political stature. There will be further disunity in the opposition camp but Rahul Gandhi does not care. After the holiday in Colombia, now I am busy in touring the country, so I did not get time for Bihar. Their new cry will start again on 14th November.
