A young man from West Champaran (Bettiah) district of Bihar, who went to Oman in search of employment, is in trouble there. According to the information received, this young man is lodged in the jail of Oman. The distressed family members have sought help from Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jansuraj, for the return of their son to their country. An appeal in this matter has been made through social media influencer and leader Manish Kashyap.

The young man had gone abroad for employment
This young man from Bettiah had gone to the Gulf country to overcome the poverty of his family. After going there, he was jailed due to some legal or sponsorship (Kafala) related problem. The family members are in bad condition and crying. In the video going viral on social media, the family members are seen pleading that somehow their son should be brought back to India. Labor laws in Oman are very strict and working without proper documents can result in jail.
Appeal for help through Manish Kashyap
The victim’s family has contacted Janasuraj Party leader Manish Kashyap. He says that if Prashant Kishor wants, he can find a way for his release by talking to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Indian Embassy in Oman. According to sources, Jansuraj’s local team is now preparing for further action by taking documents from the family so that correct information can be sent to the embassy.
