Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu congratulated the Indian team for winning the series 2-1 with a spectacular win in the third and final match of the ODI cricket series against South Africa.
Appreciating the skill, determination and teamwork spirit of the players, the Chief Minister said that their extraordinary performance has given cricket lovers across the country an opportunity to be proud and happy.
Naidu wrote on social media platform ‘X’ late on Saturday night, “Hearty congratulations to the Indian cricket team on their spectacular victory by nine wickets and winning the series 2-1! Special congratulations to Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for their excellent contribution.
He said that the match in Visakhapatnam was memorable and the city got the honor of hosting this historic match.
After the brilliant performance of the bowlers led by Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna, thanks to the unbeaten 116-run innings of Yashasvi Jaiswal, the Indian team won the series 2-1 by defeating South Africa by nine wickets with 61 balls remaining in the third and final ODI here on Saturday.
