Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers using public transport in Delhi, Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has taken an important decision. Often, due to jams and congestion on the roads, the speed of buses slows down, due to which passengers have to face delay in reaching their destination. To solve this problem, DTC has made important changes in the routes of buses passing through Shalimar Gaon Chowk. The direct objective of this change is to reduce the heavy traffic pressure in the area and make the bus service more efficient.

The decision was taken due to excessive crowd in the 700 meter stretch from Shalimar Village Chowk to Market Road, bus operations were affected.

According to the information given by DTC, the approximately 700 meter stretch from Shalimar Gaon Chowk to Market Road had become a problem for bus drivers and passengers. This stretch has become so congested that it is becoming difficult for big buses to pass through here. Due to narrow space and traffic, buses remained stuck here for a long time, which was affecting the timetable of the entire route. To rectify this problem, the administration has decided to do route diversion so that the operation of buses can continue without any hindrance.

Passengers traveling in buses of route number 127 and 183 should pay special attention, now the buses will reach their destination through the new route instead of the old route.

This change will have a direct impact on those passengers who regularly use buses of route numbers 127 and 183. DTC has decided to change the routes of buses especially on these two routes. Earlier, the problem of encroachment and traffic jams had become common on the route through which these buses passed. Now with the change in the route of these buses, it is expected that not only will the movement of buses speed up, but the local people will also get relief to a great extent from the jam at Shalimar Village Chowk.

Now instead of Market Road, buses will pass through Shalimar Bagh Max Hospital road, passengers will save time and travel will be easier.

According to the changed route plan, now these buses will not go on the route from Shalimar Gaon Chowk to Market Road. Instead, buses have now been diverted from the road towards Max Hospital in Shalimar Bagh. This new road is relatively wide and there is better traffic flow. Officials believe that by running buses through Max Hospital route, operations will be more smooth and passengers will be able to get better service on time. This step is likely to be of great help in improving the traffic system in the area.
