A wonderful news has come out for the people who are dreaming of building their home in the country’s capital Delhi. Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched its new and ambitious housing scheme in Karkardooma area of East Delhi. This is a great opportunity for those who were looking for a home in Delhi. With this initiative of DDA, the dream of hundreds of people of owning their own house will now turn into reality.

This new scheme has been named ‘Towering Heights East Delhi Hub, Karkardooma Housing Scheme 2026’. DDA has made it clear that the allotment of flats will be done entirely on the lines of ‘First Come, First Served’. This simply means that the person who books online first will get the flat. Under this scheme, a total of 741 two-BHK (2BHK) flats have been made available for sale in major towers like Pirpanjal, Vindhya, Shivalik and Satpura. Considering the location and connectivity, the demand for these flats is expected to be very high.
Registration will start from 8th January and booking can be done from 23rd January, booking amount of Rs 4 lakh will have to be kept ready.
If you also want to buy a house in this posh area, then you should start preparations from now. According to the schedule released by DDA, the process of online registration for this scheme will start from January 8 and the brochure will also be available from the same day. However, the actual booking of the flats will start from January 23. Talking about financial aspects, to join this scheme, you will have to deposit Rs 2500 as one time registration fee. At the same time, to confirm the flat, you will have to pay a booking amount of Rs 4 lakh per flat. This scheme will continue till 31 March 2026.
There is no limit on flat booking for common buyers, government employees and departments will get the special facility of ‘block booking’.
The biggest feature of this housing scheme is its flexible terms. In the retail category i.e. for the general public, no limit has been set for booking a flat by one person. If a person wishes, he can book more than one flat, there is no restriction on this. Apart from this, DDA has also given special opportunity for the government sector. Central or State Government departments, PSUs and autonomous bodies can choose the option of ‘Block Booking’. Under this, they can book up to 10 flats simultaneously in any one tower as per their requirement. Those who are interested in this scheme should keep an eye on the DDA website from January 8.
