A businessman from Rajasthan has emerged as a messiah for Indians stranded in UAE. Hundreds of Indian passengers were stranded there due to increasing tension and cancellation of flights in West Asia. Dhiran Jain opened his 80,000 square feet farmhouse for these people and made free arrangements for their stay and food. This initiative is now being discussed all over the world and people are appreciating it a lot.

What kind of help did Dheeran Jain provide to the migrants?
Dheeran Jain is the Chairman of 1XL Holdings and has been living in UAE for the last 11 years. He provided accommodation to more than 200 people at his farmhouse in Ajman. Many families and tourists from Maharashtra and Rajasthan were involved in this. Highlights about this initiative are given below:
Help Start: This work started from 28 February 2026 when the flights were cancelled.
Who got the benefit: Between 200 and 260 Indian passengers stayed there.
Facility: Free accommodation and food arrangements were made in the 80,000 square feet farmhouse.
Appreciation: Anand Mahindra called it a real example of Atithi Devo Bhava.
What relief was received from the Embassy and UAE Government?
The Consulate General of India present in Dubai conveyed the information about this facility of Dheeran Jain to all the passengers. The UAE government has also taken a big decision and said that those who are staying longer due to this crisis will not be charged penalty for visa overstay. India’s Ministry of External Affairs is continuously working with airlines and regional authorities to bring back people through alternative routes. The ministry has also issued 24/7 helpline numbers to help the passengers.
