New Delhi. In the country’s capital Delhi, an incident of double murder took place in public late on Saturday night due to an alleged love affair. According to Delhi Police, an incident of double murder took place in Nabi Karim area of Central Delhi. A person named Akash was also seriously injured in this incident. The names of the deceased are Ashu alias Shailendra and Shalini. Ashu was a resident of Amarpuri of Nabi Karim. Whereas, Shalini and Akash were residents of Bagichi Pratap Nagar. According to Delhi Police, Shalini’s husband is Akash.
Delhi Police says that Akash and Shalini had gone to meet his mother Sheela on Qutub Road in Nabi Karim area. At the same time Ashu alias Shailendra reached the spot. Akash has told the police that Ashu tried to attack him with a knife, but he survived the attack. Akash alleges that after this Ashu attacked Shalini, who was sitting in the e-rickshaw, several times with a knife. When Akash tried to save him, Ashu stabbed him too. Akash says that after this he caught Ashu and killed him with his knife. According to the police, Shalini’s brother Rohit took Akash and his sister to LHMC hospital.
Meanwhile, after getting information about the incident, Delhi Police reached the spot. Ashu was lying at the spot. The police took him to LHMC hospital. Shalini and Ashu were declared dead by the doctors. According to Shalini’s mother Sheela, her daughter and Akash have two children. Shalini was also pregnant. Delhi Police says that Shalini had a relationship with Ashu. Being angry with Akash, she even stayed with Ashu for a few days. Later Akash and Shalini started living together again. Shalini left Ashu. Due to which he was angry. Ashu also claimed that Shalini was carrying his child. There was also a dispute between Ashu and Akash. Ashu was also registered as a bad character in Nabi Karim police station. There were three cases against him.
