The accused, who stolen the urn of gold and gems worth about Rs 1 crore from a religious ceremony held on September 3 at the Red Fort in Delhi, has been arrested from Hapur in Uttar Pradesh.

The accused is named Bhushan Verma and is not a member of the Jain community. The stolen urn included 760 grams of gold, and 150 grams of diamonds, rubies and emeralds. Thief arrested from Hapur
The police caught the accused in Hapur and also recovered the theft urn. The case is under investigation by the team of North Delhi District and Crime Branch. The police is investigating Motiv with the accused.
