In early October, gold prices in India reached a historic high level. However, there has been a slight decline in the price of gold today. Today the price of gold has fallen by Rs 65, along with 24 carat gold: ₹ 11,804 per gram (₹ 65). The price of 22 carat gold has fallen by Rs 60, after which ₹ 10,820 per gram (₹ 60) and 18 carat gold has seen a decline of Rs 49 after which the new price is ₹ 8,853 per gram (₹ 49).
Gold prices are still close to historical high levels. 24 carat gold is considered the most expensive and suitable for investment, while 22 and 18 carat gold is mostly used in jewelery.
