Four women have died in a fire in a paint factory in Jind, Haryana. Jind Superintendent of Police Kuldeep Singh said that a case has been registered against the factory owner and investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
Further information is awaited as the investigation is ongoing. Apart from this, last week a fire broke out in a scrap warehouse near the stepwell gate area. Officials said that as soon as the information was received, five fire tenders reached the spot to extinguish the fire. Firefighter Sanjay Sharma said that the information was received in the morning, after which fire tenders were sent and the fire was brought under control. He said, “We received information about the fire incident at around 10 in the morning. A total of 5 fire tenders were sent to the spot to bring it under control.”
