New Delhi. The case of Haryana’s IPS Y Puran Kumar committing suicide is in the news. Everyone wants to know why they committed suicide. Meanwhile, he has also received a suicide note and desire. In the 9 -page note, IPS Y Puran Kumar accused 8 IPS and 2 IAS officers who remained their colleagues of mental and administrative pressure and harassment. Among the officers mentioned in the suicide note of Y Puran Kumar, a former DGP of Haryana is also named. Puran Kumar had been in discussion several times for raising voice against allegations of discrimination with him and some government orders. In the year 2020, Puran Kumar accused the then DGP of the state Manoj Yadav of targeting himself due to ethnic discrimination. Along with this, he also accused Additional Chief Secretary Rajiv Arora posted in the Home Department of preparing an inquiry report in a biased manner.
On the other hand, another thing has come out in this case. An FIR was registered against Puran Kumar’s PSO head constable Sushil Kumar for demanding Rs 2.5 lakh every month from a liquor businessman. According to the police, after the arrest, Constable Sushil Kumar named IPS Puran Kumar during interrogation. Let us tell you that ADGP Y Puran Kumar committed suicide by shooting himself with a government revolver in the basement of his house in Chandigarh on Tuesday. On September 29, Puran Kumar was removed from the post of IG of Rohtak Range and sent on posting in PTC Sunaria. It was considered to be his punishment posting.
