New Delhi. Canada is trying to rectify its relations with India. Canadian National Security Advisor (NSA) Nathali Drin and Deputy Foreign Minister David Morison have come to India. Nathali and David had accused the Home Minister of India of targeting Khalistani terrorists in Canada during the tenure of former PM Justin Trudeau. On this matter, there was a tussle in Canada’s relations with India. Now Nathali and David have come to India and met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Vikram Egyptian. During this time there was a discussion on re -activating the bilateral dialogue system between the two countries.
The attitude of both sides was positive in the discussion between Ajit Doval and Nathali Droin. During this time, security, trade and energy were discussed about priority areas. India raised the case of Khalistani extremism and extradition of Khalistani terrorists in Canada. On this, Canada has said to support the anti -terrorism campaign. In view of this meeting, it is believed that the tussle between the two countries is now getting away.
Let us tell you that this meeting has taken place at a time when Khalistani terrorists recently issued a threat for the Indian Embassy in Canada. However, the statement of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs also came in this regard yesterday. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal had said that it is the job of the host country to provide security to our diplomatic establishments, no matter where they are. When the Indian consulates are threatened, we put our concern before the government there to ensure that there is adequate protection of our diplomatic complexes.
