The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match officials for the final match of the T20 World Cup 2026. On Sunday, March 8, the teams of India and New Zealand will face each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. ICC has given the responsibility of on-field umpires to Richard Illingworth and Alex Wharf for this important match. This will be Richard Illingworth’s second consecutive T20 World Cup final, while Alex Wharfe will be officiating in a senior men’s World Cup final for the first time. Ticket prices are expected to start from Rs 1000 for the general audience.
