Pakistan’s efforts to end the ongoing war between Iran and America have intensified. Pakistan has put forward a peace proposal to both the countries to which Iran has given its reply. On April 6, 2026, Iran’s Foreign Ministry made it clear that they are ready for talks but will not bow down to any threats. US President Donald Trump has given time till April 7, after which the situation may worsen.
What is included in Pakistan’s peace proposal?
Pakistan has prepared a two-phase plan to stop this war. Pakistan’s Foreign Department has confirmed that they are continuously making efforts for peace. The highlights of this proposal are given below:
In the first phase, it is proposed to stop the war immediately for 45 days. During this time, there is a plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz for ships. In the second phase, a permanent agreement will be negotiated within 15 to 20 days. Pakistan is ready to host this entire conversation. Field Marshal Asim Munir is continuously talking to officials of America and Iran.
What are Iran’s conditions and Trump’s last warning?
Iran has made it clear that it will not open the Strait of Hormuz only for a short time. Iran says that unless America is ready for permanent peace, it is difficult to open the way. At the same time, President Donald Trump has threatened that if an agreement is not reached by Tuesday night, he can attack Iran’s power plants and other important civil facilities. However, Iran has said that it will allow passage to ships of friendly countries like India, Pakistan, Türkiye and France by charging security fees. Meanwhile, the European Union has also appealed that attacking energy targets is wrong and a solution should be found through talks.
