New Delhi. After the announcement of GST reforms by the Modi government, now its effect has started to show. Mother Dairy has announced to cut milk prices by giving relief to the general public in everyday expenses. The company has cut the prices of packaged milk by up to Rs 2 per liter. 1 liter toned milk (tetra pack) which was earlier worth Rs 77 will now be available for 75 rupees. Apart from this, the price of ghee to butter, cheese and ice cream has also been reduced. The rates of these products have been reduced to 30 rupees.
A packet of 450 mL of milk will now be available for Rs 32 instead of Rs 33. One liter of ghee of Mother Dairy, which was available for Rs 675 till now, has been reduced to 30 rupees cheaper i.e. for 645 rupees. Now 20 rupees will be saved on 500 grams of butter. Earlier its price was 305 rupees, which has been reduced to Rs 285. At the same time, 200 grams of cheese which used to be available for 95 rupees till now will now be available for 92 rupees. Similarly, the crush tub of one liter of strawberry ice cream, which has now been priced at 330 rupees.
At the same time, the price of 150 mL ice cream has come down from 70 to 60 rupees. Whereas butter scotch cones will be reduced from Rs 35 to a price of Rs 30. Apart from this, the 1 kg pack of successful frozen peas has been cheaper than Rs 230 to Rs 215. Whereas a packet of 400 grams which was available for 100 rupees will be available for 95 rupees. Apart from this, the company has also reduced the price of pickle, tomato puree, coconut water and mix fruit jam. The company says that we are giving the benefit of GST exemption to our customers.
