Former Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yusuf made objectionable remarks against Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav. During a TV show, Mohammad Yusuf made fun of Suryakumar and even called him a ‘pig’. He has also accused the Board of Control for Cricket in India of influencing Match officials. The dispute began with the incident of not joining hands during the India-Pakistan match in the Asia Cup. In fact, Pakistan players are upset with Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav because Surya did not join hands with Pakistani players during the match on 14 September. Not only this, the time of the toss as well as during the entire match, the Indian players kept a distance with the Pakistani players and did not join any hands. For this, Pakistan held the match referee Andy Paiyoft responsible and demanded the removal of him. Even the PCB had complained about this to the ICC.
In fact, the PCB believes that the Indian team did not join hands with Pakistani players because of Andy. But the ICC has completely rejected it. The ICC has also informed the PCB about the decision after investigating the case.
