New Delhi. The Union Home Ministry has handed over the investigation of the car blast at the red light near the Red Fort in Delhi to the NIA (National Investigation Agency). Union Home Minister Amit Shah had called a high-level meeting at his residence this morning. Many senior officials including Union Home Secretary, IB Chief, NIA Head were present in this meeting. Jammu and Kashmir DGP also attended the meeting through video conferencing. It was decided in the meeting that the investigation of this blast should be done by the National Investigation Agency. After the Faridabad connection of this blast came to light, many employees of Al-Falah University located there are also being interrogated.
Let us tell you that Dr. Umar Nabi, whose name is appearing in the Delhi blast from Faridabad, was a native of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir and was holding the post of Assistant Professor in Al-Falah Medical College, Faridabad. Dr. Shaheen Shahid, working here, was also arrested yesterday. Dr. Muzammil, from whose house in Faridabad yesterday explosives, guns and chemicals were found, was using the same car as Dr. Shaheen. It is being claimed about Dr. Shaheen that she is the head of the women’s wing of Jaish in India.

On the other hand, Dr. Shaheen’s father, who lives in Lucknow, refuted the allegations made by Syed Ahmed Ansari against his daughter. He said that the news of Shaheen’s arrest came to light only through the media. He said that neither do I know Muzammil nor have I ever heard his name from Shaheen. The car found near Muzammil belongs to Dr. Shaheen’s brother Parvez, who works in Integral University.
